I was born in Weisbaden, Germany and grew up in the beach communities of Los Angeles. After graduating with a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, I moved back to the Los Angeles area, living everywhere from Santa Monica to the corner of Melrose and La Brea in downtown LA. Upon my return to Southern California I worked in television production for Warner Bros. TV and spent the next five years in television development, helping to develop and produce series programming for the studio. In 2004 I moved to Orange County and attended Chapman University School of Law in the City of Orange, graduating in 2007 with an emphasis in environmental, land use, and real estate law. For three years during and after law school I worked as a law clerk and then associate attorney at the maritime firm of Herrick Nikas, LLP, in Newport Beach.
I was admitted to the California State Bar in 2007 as well as to the United States District Court, Central District of California.
For the next three years I worked as an associate at the law firm of Carter & Momsen, LLP, in Ukiah, Mendocino County. There, I gained extensive experience in administrative and land use law, helping individuals and businesses in Mendocino County, and the surrounding area, ensure that local development projects comply with relevant environmental regulations and that local government agencies follow the proper procedures in deciding whether or not to approve such a project. I also gained a great deal of experience in handling contract disputes, landlord/tenant issues, and an array of easement and property line disputes.
I look forward to the opportunity to help you with these matters and have the experience to do so effectively and efficiently.
